WWA and Setlog Announce Collaboration

Walter Wilhelm Associates LLC (WWA) and Setlog Corp. announced an agreement has been reached for the two companies to collaborate on providing Setlog’s On-line Supply Chain Accelerator (OSCA) solution in the North and Latin American market.

Walter Wilhelm, President and Chief Executive Officer of WWA said that the OSCA technology is a perfect compliment to company’s already formidable position as a leading implementer of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems. According to Mr. Wilhelm, “PLM provides a wonderful platform for collaboration during product development but as one major retailer recently mentioned, once the order is placed it often falls into a ‘black hole’ missing an efficient hand-off between PLM and ERP. OSCA provides this hand-off along with critical logistics analytics in an elegant and efficient way. Setlog provides the OSCA technology as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), a compelling way to make it easy for a brand or retailer to get started.”

Ralf Duester, President of Setlog Corp. commented, “We are very pleased to be working with a company that has been a leader in the development and implementation of systems technology for the apparel, footwear and retail industries. Walter’s organization mirrors our attitude about customer service and partnerships. The WWA team is being trained and introduced to our European customer base in October so collaboration between our companies has already begun.”

Walter Wilhelm Associates LLC is a boutique consulting organization that focuses on refining ‘front-end’ processes for the sewn goods industry and retailing. WWA helps clients with speed-to-market initiatives and with technology evaluations and implementations. The company is especially well recognized for helping clients successfully implement PLM and other supply chain solutions.

Setlog has been offering OSCA, Europe’s leading internet-based SCM- and Sourcing system for the past nine years. The application connects brands and retailers in real-time with all their external supply chain partners (buying offices, sourcing agencies, suppliers, QC, laboratories, testing institutes, forwarders, DCs and finishers) on one single platform in more than 40 countries. The reduction of process costs up to 30% result in a ROI within the first 12 months after implementation. Setlog entered the US market in summer 2010.
